Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
Safe Sweep (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit safesweepstl.com, fill out a form, call, text or email us, or book a service with us. It also explains how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, service address, the details of your request (including any photos you send), your preferred appointment times, and the consent choices you make on our forms.
Forms on Facebook and Instagram. If you fill out one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, Meta sends us the details you submit so that we can contact you. We handle them the same way as a form sent from this website.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site and the tools we use may record your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site or ad that brought you here (including Google Ads click identifiers such as GCLID), and information stored in cookies and similar technologies. See “Cookies and advertising” below.
Calls and texts. When you call or text us we receive your phone number and the content of your message. Some phone numbers shown on our site or ads may be tracking numbers that forward to our office, so we can learn which page or ad led to the call. If we record a call for quality and training, you will be told on the call.
How we use your information
- To answer your request, give you an estimate and schedule your appointment.
- To perform the service you ask for, and to send estimates, invoices, inspection reports and receipts.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders and service updates.
- To contact you by phone and email with follow-ups, maintenance reminders and offers. You can opt out at any time.
- To send you text messages, if you have agreed to receive them. See “Text messages” below.
- To measure and improve our website and our advertising.
- To keep business records, prevent fraud and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own marketing. We share information only as described here:
- Subcontractors and trade partners. Some jobs need a licensed trade partner, for example an electrician, plumber, gas fitter or mason. To complete the work you request, we may share your name, phone number, email address, service address and job details with the subcontractor who will perform that part of the service, so they can contact you and do the work. They may use this information only to perform that work for us, and not for their own marketing.
- Service providers. Companies that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, phone, call answering and text messaging services, scheduling and job-management software, and payment processors. We give them only what they need to do that job for us.
- Marketing and advertising providers. Companies that help us run, measure and improve our advertising and our website, such as Google and our marketing agency. They may receive request details and website or ad activity data so we can tell which ads lead to real customers.
- Legal and safety. When the law requires it, or to protect our customers, our team, our rights or our property.
- Business transfer. If the business is sold or merged, customer records may be transferred to the new owner, who must continue to honor this policy.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, or text us first, you agree to receive text messages from Safe Sweep about your appointment, service updates and offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, mobile opt-in data or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the categories of sharing described above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Cookies and advertising
Our website uses, or may use, cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels, tags and device identifiers) to make the site work, to understand how visitors use it, and to measure and deliver advertising.
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to see how visitors use our site. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Session insights. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors move through our pages, such as clicks and scrolling, so that we can improve the site. You can read how Microsoft handles this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated spam. Its use is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Advertising. We advertise online, including with Google Ads, and we may use advertising tools from other platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use website activity and request data to measure which ads work and to show our ads to people who may need our services. Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the Internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and/or device identifiers to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to our website. We may send Google a scrambled (hashed) version of your phone number or email so a request can be matched to the ad click that led to it.
- Your ad choices. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from many other advertising companies at optout.networkadvertising.org or optout.aboutads.info.
- Embedded content. Pages may include content from other companies, such as Google Maps, Google Fonts or videos, which may set their own cookies.
- Browser controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site will still work.
Your choices
- Calls: tell us on any call, or contact us using the details below, and we will stop calling you.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text message.
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in the email, or reply and ask us to stop.
- Your data: you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices, for tax or legal reasons.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep customer and request records for as long as needed to serve you, to honor warranties and to meet legal and tax requirements. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
